SVG Data Widgets
A framework for building dynamic data content using widgets entirely described in XML.
SVG Data Widgets enabled content developers to link SVG drawing attributes to external values. This makes it possible provide remotely-generated visual information on SVG-enabled remote mobile and desktop browsers.
Usage example:
- Server load monitoring: Remotely monitor the server health of critical infrastructure. In this example, a simple SVG drawing enables administrators and webmasters to visually monitor server health.
- Siemens Clock: Our rendition of a popular functionality example. This example is based on: Stefan Oskamp's example and borrows the visual components from his site.
- Ship Automation: A mock-up of a systems management GUI to provide total awareness of ship navigation and systems status onboard a cruising vessel. At thsi time, the data is simulated, but is remotely provided in the same way that it would be delivered ship-board. All that is missing for this system to be life is ethernet-enabled sensors installed on a ship. We hope to have this system reading real data within 12 months.
- Remote Instrumentation Mockup: A demonstration of a visual mock-up of an arbitrary instrument.
